What is Harvester?

Harvester is designed to help customers manage their Citrix farms more effectively. Developed by Centralis using the Citrix SDK, Harvester gives administrators access to a comprehensive set of farm management tools and reports options via a simple, easy to use console.

Whether you are checking the farm to diagnose and resolve a problem, carrying out regular maintenance, upgrading the farm, or producing monthly reports for SLAs, Harvester makes every task simple, standard and extremely fast.

Designed by our own enterprise Citrix farm administration team, Harvester was the first commercial software developed with the Citrix SDK and is backed by the resources of a Citrix Platinum and Microsoft Gold partner, as well as Citrix Ready certification.

Why Use Harvester?

If you currently manage a Citrix environment you will be only too aware that some tasks are complex, time consuming or just difficult to carry out using the standard tools and consoles. You will also be rightly cautious about introducing additional software onto your servers without good cause. Harvester is specifically designed to reduce the overhead of farm management without having to install software or copy scripts to your servers.

Harvester:

Runs from an .EXE on a PC or Citrix server with no local install, agents or permission changes needed
Removes the need for custom written scripts and shareware tools
Automates published application and server management using XML based reference files
Provides extensive, intelligent reporting with data filtering, sorting, exception finding and pattern matching

By automating complex tasks, Harvester not only removes the most time-consuming activities, it improves the quality of farm management by standardising procedures and removing human error.

A fully functional trial version of harvester can be downloaded from the Centralis website. Choose from:

Harvester 5.0 - for XenApp 5.0 and 4.5 (Platinum, Enterprise and Advanced Editions / 32 & 64 bit)
Harvester 4.5 - for Presentation Server 4.5 and 4.0 (Platinum & Enterprise Editions / 32 & 64 bit)
Harvester 4.2 - for Presentation Server 4.0 (Platinum & Enterprise Editions) and Presentation Server 3.0
Harvester 2.0 - for Presentation Server 3.0 (Enterprise Edition) and MetaFrame XP FR3
